Garden Resource Club (GRC)

The GRC is a club of gardeners of varying skills and abilities who are connecting to growing food, flowers and medicine together. It is completely free to join, and we ask our members to re-join every year for the new season so we can prepare the resources needed.

    • We stay informed with a weekly newsletter sharing events, volunteer opportunities and resources.

    • We offer exclusive resource access to Club members, like soil and compost drops.

    • We have monthly member meetings where we share food and our garden triumphs and questions, seeds and stories.

    • GRC Members get exclusive early access to our annual organic Transplant Sale.

  • All are welcome! You do not have to be a Pontiac resident to join, but our activities are generally focused on Pontiac sites.

  • All you have to do is fill out THIS FORM and you’re a member! You’ll receive regular updates about upcoming classes, free resources, and more!

[The Garden Resource Club] helped me to start my garden. The network motivated me to build my capacity as a grower and share my enthusiasm with friends and family

Join Our Farm Work Days

And help us make a bigger impact.

Weekly Farm Days are scheduled to support Mucha Fruta Farm and provide garden skills classes! Join us every second and fourth Thursday, 6:00 - 7:30 pm, beginning May 28th, 2026.

We’re a nonprofit that relies on donations to help make Pontiac a better place to live and eat. But we understand that donating money isn’t always possible. If you’d like to support our work, consider donating your time as a volunteer! You can help spread the word, share your gardening knowledge, or pitch in however you’re able.

Ways to Financially Support Our Work

We’re grateful for all forms of support, time being one of the greatest. But to continue doing the work of providing low-cost and free programming and materials, grant funding and financial contributions are necessary — here are ways you can keep the work going!
